Encounter

“Whoever receives you receives me,

and whoever receives me

receives the one who sent me.”

(Matthew 10:40, NAB)

For us, the meaning of hospitality

is receiving Christ himself

in our guests by accepting all they bring,

good or bad, as His presence.

By our hospitality we receive Them

in order that they,

having been spiritually renewed

and strengthened,

be able to continue their mission

in the world.

“Do not neglect hospitality,

for through it some have unknowingly

entertained angels.” (Hebrews 13:2, NAB)
